Warrick County Indiana Pride is hosting a baking contest fundraiser on Dec 15, 2024, from 3 to 9 PM at Trickey’s Brews & Bevs in Boonville, Indiana!
The contest will be judged by 3 area judges and winners will get awards and prizes. Contestants will prepare and bring in baked goods for display and judging. Entries will not be cooked on site or served to the public at the event.
Rules and baking entry information will be posted on the WCIP Facebook site later this week. Baking entry applications are not available through Trickey’s, as this is a privately hosted event.
The $30 contest entry fee for contestants includes entry to the event. The $10 audience tickets include admission only (not participation in the baking contest).

WCIP’s First Invited Speaker: Jerusha Van Camp of Greater Evansville Youth (GEY)
Warrick County Indiana Pride decided that, given COVID-19, we will not sponsor any large in-person LGBTQ+ events just now. Instead, we have asked – as our first event – that Jerusha Van Camp of Greater Evansville Youth (GEY) give a Zoom talk titled “LGBTQ+ Spirit in a Pandemic World.” Jerusha is the Children and Youth Pastor for First Presbyterian Church and the President of GEY. Her talk will be on June 17th, starting at 6 pm. The Zoom information is shown below.
In lieu of donations for either WCIP or GEY, we ask that food donations be made to the United Way Caring Center in Evansville and Hope Central in Warrick County.
